Chapel Service Series designed to provide spiritual teachings
On Sunday, August 31 at 10:30 a.m., the guest homilist will be the Rev. Dr. Eric Mansfield., who is a board certified ear, nose and throat physician. The Falcon Football Team will be recognized during this service.
Rev. Mansfield studied medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. and subsequently completed his residency specialty training in otorhinolaryngology at Charity Hospital of Tulane University in New Orleans, La. In 1991, he answered his call to the ministry and was licensed under the Reverend Dr. Cameron Alexander of Atlanta’s Antioch Baptist Church. He was ordained in the Union Baptist Association and is the former pastor of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC. Currently, he is the young adult minister at Lewis Chapel Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC.
In 2010, he ran for public office and was elected as a Democratic Member to the North Carolina State Senate for District 21.
