President Dianne Boardley Suber has been selected to receive Hampton University’s 2013-2014 Presidential Award for Outstanding Citizenship on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Hampton, Va. President Suber will be recognized during Hampton’s 121st Annual Founders’ Day Program. The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Ogden Hall on Hampton’s campus.

This award honors people who have made distinguished contributions, rendered service to the community and demonstrated the values of decency, dignity and human rights for all people.

President Suber earned her bachelor’s of science degree in early childhood education from Hampton (Institute) University.
